Cosmetic Bonding

Dr. Nicole Kuske DDS performs dental bonding at her Mission Viejo, CA office.

What is Cosmetic Bonding?

Cosmetic (dental) bonding is very similar to what it sounds like and can help improve your smile. Dr. Kuske applies resin (color matched to your teeth) in order to achieve cosmetic results for your mouth. Cosmetic bonding can be used to fill in areas between teeth that need filling, to change the shape and appearance of teeth, and many other cosmetic procedures.

Cosmetic bonding can be used to solve many different dental problems such as:

Spacing — Dr. Kuske uses Bio Clear injection molded bonding to close small to medium spaces between your teeth. Schedule FREE consultation today to see if you are a good candidate for this non invasive solution.

Broken Front Tooth — Dr. Kuske uses composite dental bonding on front teeth in order to repair chipped and broken front teeth to their original beauty.

Black Triangles — Dr. Kuske uses Bio Clear injection molded bonding to close these dark triangles between your teeth to restore your youthful smile. Schedule a FREE consultation today to see if you are a good candidate for this non-invasive solution.

Be sure to contact us if you have been searching for “dental bonding near me.” Our cosmetic bonding patients come to us from Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Niguel, Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Hills and nearby locations.

Dr. Kuske was one of ten students selected in her dental school class to be on the “Esthetics Team” –  this is a huge honor. The school faculty selects the 10 students out of a class of 144 to be on this team and receive additional esthetic training. After graduation she has continued to take classes in this rapidly changing area of dentistry.

Benefits of composite resin dental veneers:

— usually less tooth enamel needs to be removed than for crowns or porcelain veneers

— may mean fewer visits to the dentist-sometimes these veneers take just one visit

— cost less than porcelain veneers

— are easy to fix if they get damaged; although composite veneers are generally not as strong or wear-resistant as porcelain veneers, composite veneers can be repaired easily and quickly

Steps to place composite resin dental veneers:

1. After the teeth are prepared or reshaped, the dentist carefully bonds and sculpts the composite material using a color that is best for you.

2. A special light is used to harden the composite and bond it to your teeth.

3. The veneers are smoothed and polished to look like natural teeth.
